Before you install

Windows will warn you once.

The beta installer is not yet signed with a code-signing certificate, so Windows shows a blue "Windows protected your PC" box the first time. The paid release will be signed.

  1. Check the file: in PowerShell run Get-FileHash RedactPro_setup.exe and compare it with the checksum on this page.
  2. Open the installer. On the blue box, click More info.
  3. Click Run anyway. The installer runs for your account only and needs no administrator password.
  4. Open RedactPro from the Start menu and drop in a file.
